                    India beat Pakistan by 7 wickets in a Group B match.


                            India, which needed to need 150 runs to win, got off to a decent start and enjoyed  a fruitful powerplay, but opener Yastika Bhatia was out after a laborious 17 off 20 balls. On the other side, Shafali Verma scored rapidly to keep the Indian scoreboard rolling and push it past 50 in just 7 overs. Verma's dismissal, which occurred close to the midway point of the innings, dealt India a setback and left them needing 85 runs from the final 10 overs.



                                     Jemimah Rodrigues and Harmanpreet Kaur then helped the women in Blue by calming the ship.                                  Pakistan chose to bat after winning the toss. According to Pakistani captain Bismah Maroof, the choice to bat first was made after examining the dry surface. Harmanpreet said that if she had won the toss, she would have chosen to bat first.
